The last thing we want is for you to be left out of the loop! Please share with friends and family to spread the word about all of the exciting things going on in the autism community. Keep in mind, these updates aren’t limited to Autism Speaks — we will be featuring news from across the community.

We know how hard it is to balance the needs of all of your children and to celebrate each of them individually! Well for our Whirl we want to honor our siblings and share some of our favorite posts! My Sibling dolls are great companions for siblings of children with autism. The every day stories (in booklets that come with each doll) about living with a brother or sister who has autism are told from the perspective of the typically developing child. Children can learn from these stories about how to understand other children who learn and grow differently than they do. We have been advocates for people with autism for more than 20 years, and believe strongly in the importance of raising awareness in children, because they are our future. Our dolls are dressed and accessorized by teens and adults with disabilities in our My Sibling My Pal Work Experience Program.
